Indoor Netball New Zealand
INNZ is the national sporting body governing Indoor Netball in New Zealand.
INNZ is an Incorporated Society and a non-profit organisation and a full member of the World Indoor Netball
Association (WINA).
We have 25 affiliated centre’s, & 64 courts across the New Zealand where regular in-house competitions are run, as well as participation in regional super league and national competitions.
There are a range of grades from corporate to social to junior/youth to competitive in Indoor Netball in New Zealand with an estimate that over 38,000 participants play indoor netball on a weekly basis throughout New Zealand.
Indoor Netball New Zealand is also involved in international tournaments including Trans Tasman events, Tri Series and World Cups. Most recently we have attended and sent New Zealand teams to WINA events such as the Junior World Series & Tri Series, Aged World Series and World Cup with history of these events spanning back to the mid 90s.
Predominantly Indoor Netball in New Zealand is played in the 6’s format however due to international demand and competition INNZ is looking to introduce the 7s version of the game into our competitions in the near future.
